About the Project:

The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) and the City of Troy have made improvements in this area, including the expansion of Liberty Square, creating a new mobility hub, and upgrading the intersections of Hill Street, Liberty Street, and 4th Street to make it safer for all users.
CDTA and the City of Troy started on this project in 2021 and received input from the Little Italy community throughout the process. This project will complement the City's streetscape improvements recently completed along 4th Street.
Construction began in June 2024 and the mobility hub was completed in October 2024.
