Construction Started at Liberty Square Mobility Hub in Troy

In early June, CDTA’s selected contractor began construction on the newest mobility hub in the region at Liberty Square in the Little Italy neighborhood in Troy.

Mobility hubs are multi-modal transit centers integrating different modes of transportation to improve connectivity and accessibility for travelers and reduce dependence of single occupancy vehicles. They also include pedestrian safety upgrades, new passenger amenities, and enhancements to the public realm like lighting or landscaping. CDTA is creating mobility hubs throughout the region.

The Liberty Square Mobility Hub will serve the Little Italy neighborhood in South Troy. This project was developed in collaboration with the City of Troy and neighborhood partners and complements their investments in the area along 4th Street and Hill Street.
