UAlbany Gardenway - Construction Underway

Construction of the UAlbany Gardenway began back in October 2021 and will continue throughout Spring and Summer 2023. The UAlbany Gardenway is a part of CDTA’s new Purple Line BusPlus Route and will include a transit priority lane, a new BRT station and new multi-use path along Alumni Drive. The station will be located at the Campus Center stop and offer amenities such as benches, trash receptacles, bike racks, ADA accessible ramps, and a large pylon with CDTA BusPlus branding.  These improvements will increase efficiency of the service as well as improve campus connectivity for pedestrians. Once completed, the Gardenway will bring many benefits to the UAlbany Campus.
